Melissa M. Sams is a litigator who represents clients on a wide range of cases from criminal traffic tickets to serious felonies; domestic matters such as divorce, child custody, and legitimation; probate disputes; and car wreck and personal injury suits.

Prior to joining the Trammell Firm she was the law clerk for the Coweta Judicial Circuit working with 7 judges in a five county circuit – Troup, Meriwether, Heard, Coweta, and Carroll.

Melissa received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta. She also has a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Melissa recently joined the LaGrange Lions Club and is in charge of new media outreach. She grew up in Fayetteville and now resides in Newnan with her husband and two daughters.
